FYI for anyone travelling to T'malai and not staying at Ramanasramam.
TPS Lodge, on the North side of the Aruncheleshwar Temple, almost opposite the gopuram is a great place. New rooms, friendly staff, and there's a great idly source (5 for rs5, with good sambar & chutney) in the alley alongside. namaste, -d.a.
