suggestions for Mussoorie hotel in end JUNE?
hi,
I came across this HOTEL NAND RESIDENCY which is at KULRI, The MALL, on the net. I called them and asked them to book a double bed standard room which they have finally come down to 1500 rupees. they have asked me to mail back to them and send an advance by bank transfer. I would be emailing them...and awaiting their response. Could u please advice whether this hotel is worth the money and how is the service. I am looking for a lower bracket(budget rooms) of around 500 - 800 ( two bed per day ) for a period of 5 days more in mussorrie in last week of JUNE. I would love to have those out houses in old bunglows with attached kitchens if any are rent out. As a kitchen would be a bonus as my stomach is very finicky. Please advice where can I find such places in this budget or any rooms with attached kitchenete would also do. Thank You Anil Khare |

While in Mussoorie for two months in the winter of 04, we stayed in a hotel called Hotel Deep. It was very nice—the staff were friendly and the rooms were fully functional and clean. We had a suite with a kitchenette. We were only paying 450 rupees for the suite, but we were there in low season.
They're located by the skating rink just a bit off the mall and connect to camelback road. Also, they're only a hop, skip, and jump from the mosque so you'll hear the call for prayer everyday, several times for day. For us, it was very relaxing. joe b. |

![]() I think it may be a situation of pay more to get what you want, anilkhare, or to lower your standards to fit your price range. Peak time anywhere is expensive. joe b. |
