Spending 15 days on a coffee/tea estate?

Hi,

My friend from Italy is interested in spending a fortnight in a coffee/tea estate. In addition to the quiet & peace he wants to document the working of an estate. Has any IM'er stayed in a guesthouse/resort etc. located inside a working estate in South India?

Coffee yeh

Stayed at a great coffee and cardamon estate in Karnataka. It was awkward to get there as I travelled with my 2 yr old ( I had to climb a huge hill with her and backpack) but the place was great.Stay at Hotek Cauvery in Madikeri and organise from there. Its called Palace Estate.
