| South India accomodation We shall be arriving in Mamallapuram in a couple of days before moving on to Madurai, Kanyakumari and then a south Keralan beach for a couple of weeks (Varkala looks favourite at the moment). Any help with accomodation would be much appreciated as well as any possible alternatives to Varkala. We don't have anything booked yet so we expect that accomodation will be pretty full - is this right?? Thanks |

| bit tight! but you can manage after a bit of wandering.Varkala doesnt have so many hotels like Chennai, Madurai or Kanyakumari. The nearest two 'big' towns(Quilon & Trivandrum) are about 1hour by bus/train apart.call up to hotels at varkala before you reach there. |
