Smile Seeking Hotels in Marol Mumbai...

Hi there ,

I am making my way back to India a second time for a friends wedding and will only be staying a week and a half which shall be an interesting adventure.
My first visit I stayed at a hotel in Colaba which was perfect as it was close for me to see things around town on foot.
Now my friend is getting married and the wedding will be in Marol which is a suberb near the airport.
I am wondering if anyone can recommend a moderately priced and clean hotel in Marol that way I would not have to travel all the way from Colaba for the wedding. Any good restaurants inexpensive restaurants in the area as well?
After the wedding we will be going down to Kerala and I know its monsoon season but I'm sure we will have an amazing time.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you ! Shukria !

Christine

Well Marol is a part of Andheri - East which is close to both the Domestic and International Terminals. Christine - moderately priced can mean different things to different people so what is ur budget in USD. Besides the usual slew of five stars around the International airport (all upward of USD 300 a night) you can try

Hotel Sunsheel
Hotel Tunga http://www.nivalink.com/tungaparadise/tariff.html
Hotel Avion - opposite domestic airport: http://www.avionhotel.com/avion-hotel/index.htm

Do remember that Andheri is the IT/BPO hub and therefore most places to my mind are overpriced - Usd 100 + for a 3-star.

As for good inexpensive restaurents in that area you can find many
