Sahi River View Guest House in Varanasi
Has anyone stayed here before? if so would you recomend it? thanks.

Stayed there for 10 days last Nov. Clean, basic room, very friendly and helpful management. Loved the location, Nice thalis at dinner. I would be happy to go back!!

Stayed there May 2004, hot as hell with no air con (there are aircon rooms though). Lovelly place, very clean, friendly, helpful staff and very quiet. It's a great location for relaxing and watching kids play in the river (not something I'd be game to try myself). It is a bit of a hike back into the centre of it all but for me that was a bonus. If you've got someone to go with (scaredy cat that I am), it's great to walk back from the main ghats to the hotel at night. Just take a torch for when the lights go out.
