| Radisson in Delhi Has anyone stayed at the Radisson in Delhi? I know it's pricey, but I'll be traveling with my mom (70 years old) and since we arrive late, we won't want to spend another hour or so getting to a hotel. Radisson is close to the airport. Any thoughts? Thanks. |

| Radisson will be fine for you and your mom. I know the Coke execs from Atlanta stay there when in town. ![]()

| Radisson? Uppal's Orchid is a really nice hotel that is close to the airport and is in the same price range. In fact, I believe it is less expensive. In my opinion, the rooms at Uppals are nicer (although smaller), the restaurant is better, there are some nice outside areas that I didn't see/notice at the Radisson. Not only that, but mine and my coworker's rooms stunk of mildew. At the same time, I know other coworker's who have stayed and had no problems. |

| Hello and Namaste! Yes, i have stayed at the RAdisson in Delhi, as i have stayed in most of the top properties there! Radisson is a fine luxury hotel if u WANT COMFORT AND NEED to be near the airport..Basically, it is used for five star transit passangers, as it is litterall, right on the highway minutes from the airport.. It is not in a nice location, as i said, pop on the highway. If u plan to sightsee the next day in Delhi, i wld suggest it is much better to be located in the center of town, versus on th3e outskirts at the airport..Traffic will be much lighter at night to get to a city hotel... iF u stay at the Radisson, it is really inconvenient for Delhi sightseeing, shopping, etc.. However,. if u are just in transit, it is a fine alternative! Again, if u plan to spend anytime in Delhi, by all means travel at night into a good city hotel which will postion u to enjoy the city..Traffic in the morning/afternoon getting to/fro the Radisson down the highway will be a nightmare... There are many other options in that price bracket in the city which i wld highly suggest over RAdisson, if u plan to spend anytime in the city and are going for comfort and luxury.. And even if u do not want to travel so far, at least get away from the highway..u can go to the Grand in Vasant Kunj..Or if u travel a bit further u can make it to Chanyakapuri/the diplomatic area and u will find the Taj palace or Sheraton. And even in South Delhi again, u can stay at the Vasant Continental... And if u just muster the energy to make it downtown, u can go for the iNTERCONTINERNATL, or the Park, or the Meridean, or even the Nikko..many choices and much better to get to a better location.. Anyways, happy travels and feel free to drop me a line, I am a Amercian living in Delhi..Happy to help! ![]()
