Pick up at the airport

Please, can you tell me how do I find out whether the hotel can arrange for me to be picked up at the airport? I intend to stay at the Fariyas. How long the journey will cost to get there and what's the going rate for a taxi? Any other, you can recommend, who is prpared to offer ths service, and how much should I pay for a mid range hotel in Mumbai? thanks a lot.

The Residency Hotel is a good mid-range hotel, though at Rs1484 for a double, it's not cheap.

They offer an airport pick-up in an air-con ambassador for Rs800, you could get a taxi for half of that.

at the risk of asking the obvious, what did the hotel say when you asked them about airport pickup?

I've stayed at the Residency--it's great for the money.

Thanks, paying for a double bedroom with twins beds for £53.50 at the Fariyas hotel. I guess, it will be cheaper if I get the taxi at the airport.

I think you have picked a hotel a bit too far away from the airport (35 km) for them to have free shuttle service. I tried to do a search for the hotel, and on the site I found, there was no info about a free shuttle. So good luck with the pre paid taxis.

Nope - I am also looking for one. I am travelling on with Jet Airways and I guess I will pick one of their "short stop over" hotel, where you are allowed to stay around 12 hours. They all have airport shuttle services.
