Oceanic Hotel in Palolem Has anyone stayed here or have any feedback about the place at all? Or do you have an good recommendations. I don't fancy a beach hut with shared facilities but neither do I like huge package hotels. Guest houses with charm and character or unusual places are more my thing. Thanks.

Hi Lowis, I've been in the hotel last Dec 2004 for a week. Owners and staff are very good and they have a nice swimming pool. The restaurant is one of thest places to eat in Palolem (a kind of fusion). Very nice site for a drink in the terrace. Something different in Palolem, though you can't see the beach. Jorge

We checked it out when we were on Palolem last year and looking to move from the beach hut we were in. Oceanic is as Jorge describes. You cant see the sea at all, but its near patnem beach which I find more chilled than palolem.A good base to come back to. I would have definitely stayed at the Oceanic but husband and son yearned for Kerala so off we went.
