|  Need Information on Hotel Alka Guys,I'm going to Varanasi next week.I've looked through the web and decide to stay at Hotel Alka.Since I can't access to the hotel's homepage.I need any contact method,e-mail,phone,etc.Many Thx. |

for a whole week and had the double room with the common balcony which is right up from Ganges river.The view was excellent but i had to share the balcony with other travellers which was no problem to me.I also stayed in Scindia Guesthouse some 2 years ago and my impressions were almost the same -Scindia is a bit far away from the main lanes of Varanasi and i had to search quite long for restaurants etc.but Alka is just 2 minutes from the main lanes and restaurants around.What i am saying is that both have awful food {Alka has good Rajastani dhal} .Scindia , as far as i remember opens its restaurant after 18:00 so there were times i was starving and had to find in which restaurant i'd eat where it was REALLY INCONVENIENT for me but Alka has it's restaurant open all day long therefore i could eat some finger chips or have a chai , coffee.The room was very nice with carpet and TV , clean bath but too noisy.I do not know about the rest of the rooms.Yes, perhaps Scindia has more rooms with view on Ganga but the spot -for me - is a bit inconvenient.
