I've only stayed in the J W Marriott at Juhu Beach ...... but it was absolutely divine if you want a 'touch of luxury'
Fabulous bathrooms - large, deep comfortable beds, stunnings views, great food ( orchids scattered over the immaculate white linen on the Room Service trays and trolleys, that kind of thing). There's a good pool outside, huge flaring lanterns at night in the garden ....... and the sun going down over the Arabian Sea. What more could a girl ask for ???????

It is better to light a candle than complain about the darkness.

Hi aussie bear,
The Intercontinental on Marine Drive has a rooftop swimming pool and bar/lounge area with a fantastic view over the "Queens Necklace", i.e. Marine Drive.
Rooms come with 42" plasma TV's and a nice little audio system that you can listen to while soaking in the bathtub. Plus the location is very convenient for all areas in southern Bombay.
Very highly recommended.
But of course if you want something really special go for the Taj. I think at least one Indiamike member has actually spent a night there and written up a report for the Hotels-section.
