Mumbai airport accommodation help needed

Hi - I am looking for recommendations for a hotel close to either of the Mumbai airports - I will arrive around 8pm from Australia and leave the next day on a domestic flight around midday - all suggestions welcome for somewhere easy to stay of a reasonable standard where I will be able to crash! Thanks

first option is probably finding a retiring room at the domestic airport.. see the airport manager. they are comfortable, inexpensive, attached bath, airconditioned, food etc available at airport and ideal for transit.

second option is a closeby hotel. there are many around the airport, and most have pickup and drop to airport thrown in.

which one depends on your budget.

The Hotel Highway Residency (Telephone: 091-022-28242662 / 28242664 / 28242665; Fax: 091-022-28390767; email: highway@vsnl.net) will be the ideal solution for the short stay with a price of about Rs1200 or more for an airconditioned room as it is pretty close to the international airport as well as the domestic airport. They have a free transfer to the hotel but not from the hotel where it is cheaper to take a taxi or autorickshaw from the hotel the next day when you leave. The short stay at the hotel inbetween your flights will leave you no time for seeing Mumbai but I would advise you to see the city if you are here on your way back. At least a day or two is good enough to enjoy the city and what it has to offer. Hope this helps.

Cheers,
Aadil.

You can also go for hotel Suresha which offers free pick up and drop at Rs.1760/- per night. Then King's International at Rs.2500/- incl pick up and drop.

Tell me if you want me to give you more options.
