Mid-range hotel in central Delhi - any good experiences?
Hi, I know it's probably been asked thousands of times, but it's my third time in India and I would like to figure it out once and for all (although I know it's impossible in India), but still - what is a good hotel for about 1200 in central Delhi?? I stayed in many places, but nowhere where I would like to stay for the second time. All popular listings in Lonely planet, such as Hotel Relax, Prince Polonia, and Hotel Ajanta (which is no longer in LP) ultimately get some really bad reviews. And I've just read the reviews here on IndiaMike, also nothing that anyone particularly enjoyed. Is mid-range in central Delhi a lost cause? Please, any positive experiences?

Hotel Raja, the first hotel on the left on Arakashan Rd has two great rooms. The prices are someting between 2500 and 3500 per night plus tax, but you can bargain if you stay for more than one night.
