Long-term rent in surfing areas

Hello,

Given I'd like to rent a house for 10+ persons in Northen Goa for 6+ month (Oct to Apr) from direct owner, what minimum and average costs should I expect?

What costs should I expect on surfable shores of Kerala or Karnataka?

I'm not looking for one right now, just curious.

I guess I should clarify that by "a house for 10+ persons" I meant a 5+ bedroom villa...

OK, I'm in Goa now and if anyone's interested, I'm paying 20,000 Rs/month for 2-bedroom feature-packed house (washing machine and everything) at Morjim Beach (within 10 minute walking distance to the beach), thus making it 120,000 Rs. for my 6-month stay. Yep, prices are getting higher each year.

If you want to rent for one month only, they'll ask for 25,000 Rs.

I had to stay close to be beach since I have to bring all my kiting gear back and forth everyday, but if you don't need to be that close to the sea, you can rent a similar house for 15,000 Rs.

Are you giving Kitesurfing lessons in Little Morjim or Big Morjim? I will be in that area next month and I will drop in and say hello.
