Hello folks,
We're in Palolem now and plan to leave on tuesday. We want to do the Anjuna-market on wednesday. Can you tell us wich place is good to stay nearby ? Can you recommamd Candolim ? Or Anjuna itself ? Another place ? Midrange hotels are also welcome... Thx Tom and Vanessa

You can just pop into Anjuna for the day and return to your regular lodging, you don't have to live near the flea market to visit there. Ok I just read you're in Palolem now, I think it's 2 hrs to and fro each time, perhaps you could consider Vagator. Rs.200 to and fro by taxi to the flea market. Bethany Inn Rs.600 (fridge and TV incl.) or Leoney resort Rs.1300 matches 3 star accomodation, has a pool too. Anjuna itself felt noisy and crowded all the time and can involve uninterrupted negative nods to all the hawkers around.
