Karol Bagh or Connaught Place

Hi,

I will be in Delhi for two days in late December and am wondering whether it's really worth it to pay more $ and stay in Connaught Place or if Karol Bagh is fine as well. It seems there are more reasonably priced hotels in Karol Bagh but I'm wondering how far the metro ride to most of the "major tourist sites" are from Karol Bagh. Are there any major pros/cons to being in one neighborhood and not the other?

Connaught Place is my fav. place, so I always vote for CP :-).
All things are around from CP.

In Karol Bagh you will see real Delhi , but places are far from there.

In Metro Karol Bagh is only two stops away....

In my view no problem in staying at Karol Bagh if you wish to save some money....

Metro in Karol Bagh is at the end of the main street. Karol Bagh is probably a better option than Connaugth Place but my vote is always for Paharganj a dirty area..., but with a certain charm for the travelers.

My vote is for Karol Bagh. Metro is also not far from Karol Bagh.
