Hotels - to book or not to book
That is the question
we are arriving in Delhi 14th April 2008 - is this off season - will be doing Rajasthan - so to all you seasoned travellers should we book our hotels or just wing it when we get there - also wondered about this for any train journeys other than overnight trains and internal flights. sooooo many questions I know and more to come, some of them may be silly Regards - Cheryl & Dave |

by all accounts - yes (some hotels will actually tell you that it is their off season period). Will it be necessary to book? Maybe for your first couple of nights on arrival as the last thing you probably want to do after goodness knows how many hours in the air, then pushing your way through arrivals, customs, immigration, taxi ride, etc - is to then hunt around for a hotel. So maybe book your first couple of nights and see how it goes from there.
