Can any give details of good hotels in Shimla which will be near to the Mall & Kalibari temple?

Whats your budget?
I would suggest Hotel Combermere which is located at the beginning of the mall as soon as you get off the lift. There's also the Oberoi Clarkes, which of course then is in a different budget range all-together. You can check out the hotel section on the site as well for some more information. Give us a few more details and preferences and i can suggest further options...

I stayed in Hotel Kapital, its on the circular road, looks very small from inside, but was actually quite good and efficient. It has a staircase connecting to the Mall. Paid Around Rs.1500.

Just to clarify Clarkes is on the main road but Cecil is a good 15 minute walk from the other end , plus both are Oberoi properties so they will be expensive. Clarkes should however be cheaper than Cecil and i would advice that one goes in for Clarkes anyway - its right on the mall, smaller and quieter and the level of service is more personal than Cecil.
