hotels in gokarn,ooty,cochin and kollam

Hi , first of all..great site, very helpful.

Its our first time in India and its our 4th week and we are still alive

I was wondering if anyone has any advice on any hotels in the following places. We are looking for mid ranged prices between 500 and 1500 rupees.
We tried roughing it but realised we aren't as young as we used to be

Gokarn
Ooty
Cochin
Kollam

Any help is much appreciated.

Gokarn Internationel .Price400/1000 irs ,lots of rooms ,modernish building ,should do you fine.

In Fort Cochin - Casa Linda - fabulous place - perfectly clean fresh room, hot water, balcony, huge bed & great staff. We were there in Sep (end of low season) and had this amazing room for 600 rp.Im sure it would be more now, but Id be happy to pay double for it. We were walking distance to most things, especially restaurants and the main part. Youll need to taxi out to synagogue .
