hotel white, shimla
I went to shimla on august 17th 2009.I booked a room in advance through online. But my advice is don't book rooms inadvance for hotels in shimla during offseasons. We will have the facility to bargain room tariffs during offseasons. I got this info from the taxi driver and also from the people who travelled with us through train. But i don't know abt Hotel White. The room is clean and big....also has a balcony....from balcony we can have nice view of valley. So always ask for a room with balcony. But beware of monkeys. Nice bathroom with 24hrs hotwater facility. Our stay in this hotel is great.

Hi 'kanchetibabu"
Hi dear please tell us the rate of this hotel.Always write with full informations so that we can catch the whole info in just one line.Such as a hotel is associated with location, cost and facility.I am planning to go shimla in december,so I want some hotel price list.Thanks.

I guess Kancheti tried to convey that you do not need to book rooms during off seasons - and that's why tariff wasn't mentioned.
Just google and you get http://www.hotelwhiteshimla.com/ - easy! They did not provide tariff info, as many hotels during off-seasons charge a lot less. I have myself stayed in Shimla at 400 INR daily rate which during season is 1600/- plus they said (Hotel Devdoot near bus stand). Your travel time is Dec. End-Dec/early Jan is peak season, so if you're travelling around those dates, ensure to pre-book. As per my knowledge, Hotel White doesn't have a full-fledged kitchen. You however, get tea/coffee and paratha etc from there. Rest, if you want, they should be able to arrange as they're right at Lakkar bazar. I plan to stay there end-Nov, will update the IM review http://www.indiamike.com/india-hotel...-shimla-h3881/ once back.
