Hotel Smyle Inn, Pahar Ganj, Delhi, ??????
On the search for cheap accommodation in Delhi for some days I have discovered the hotel "Smyle Inn".
The hotel has an Internet home page of its own.
the rooms are favourable from the price and one also can online book (also an airport transfer).
Can anybody say something about the "Smyle Inn"??

I regularly stay at Smyle Inn when in Delhi.
It is basic (although you do get cable TV), but clean. The staff are very friendly and it's good value for money.
I'm very happy to recommend it.
Last time I was there the room cost me 250rps for a double.
Hope this helps.

I stayed in Smyle Inn for a few nights in Dec '04.
It's just off Main Bazaar, Paharganj, close to the New Delhi railway station (and Connaught Place, for example). You may have difficulties finding it because it's on one of the many winding lanes which start from the Main Bazaar, but there actually is a sign at the beginning of the lane (+ a urinal
).
Ask around and you'll find it.
Basic it is, indeed, but the room had a window (and pidgeons purring on the window sills
), a TV, a comfortable enough bed, a western toilet + shower. Internet + bottled water + breakfast available. Inexpensive. Friendly staff. I'd stay there again.
