Thanks for the above. Our budget is about $50 per night so we could afford to stay somewhere a bit more upmarket. Any suggestions greatfully received.
Thanks. |

Hi .. it's me again ... I was also working on a 50 usd budget and I think that Clarks costed me around 2,200 RPS for a triple sharring including breakfast. These guys also had smallish tour groups comming in. There entrance is located on a street corner as aposed to the other place with a similar name. Karol Bagh is actually not too bad an area. They have a huge street market on some nights of the week and there's Mc Donalds and Pizza Hut nearby ... I also remember when I was pricing places that most others were around 70 usd or around 3,000 rps a night.

Karol Bagh and Arakashan road are actually good areas. Karol bagh will be an ideal place for you. Another good site that you can visit is www.hostelworld.com and search for New Delhi hotels. You can also view ratings of various hotels over there.

Hotel Sahara
Greetings, I've gone through the whole list in the special hotel subforum but I haven't found any reviews for Hotel Sahara.
Has anyone stayed at Hotel Sahara International on Shangtrashan Rd off the Main Bazaar at Paharganj? I would appreciate your review of the place. Thanks. |
