Hotel needed in Alleppey I need to book a hotel in Alleppey, Kerala for 1 night. We'll be taking a houseboat cruise the following day so somewhere central to the jetty would be a bonus. Doesn't need to be fancy - just clean and prefereably with air con. Any recomendations?

Near Uduppi Sree Krishna Temple.. They have pick n drop facility and the place is 10 mins walk to the boat jetty..

Thanks for the suggestion, crimsonriver - I have contacted them and await confirmation on whether they have availability. In case they don't, does anyone else have another recommendation?

Try Hotel Reiban. It is not a great place to stay, but it is economical, is close to the jetty road, where most of the cruises start, and has a great restaurant attached. The best curry meen fish curry is available here.
