Hotel in Haridwar?

Anyone have a recomendation for a hotel in Haridwar?
Clean, private bath/hotwater and near the ghat, preferably.
A freind recommended Hotel Teerth- anyone stayed there?

I was in Haridwar 24 to 26th Oct,Istayed in Hotel Haveli Hari Ganga.Though on the river front with access a nbit difficult the rooms were good, service good,Attached bathrooms and gas fired water heaters.My rating ****-

Thanks. Wish I had gotten this before I got to the Hotel Teerth. It was actually a great hotel, right on the ghats, also hard to get to, but super clean and comfy. The problem was I got in mid-afternoon and was super-stinky and in need of a hot shower. This being such an up-scale seeming place, I didn't even think to ask if the hot water was 24/7. It was a bummer to find out much later that the hot water is only in the am, and even then it's kinda questionable. Oh well, next time.....

we staid in the Inder kutir gues house, very cheap (about 100 for a double room with private bathroom, with a fan). You have to buy the hot water buckets. clean (well, in the standard of a cheap hotel, i.e. better if you have your own bed sheet, and they don't clean the room everyday).
Near the gath, but no river view.

Anyone know of clean with attached bathroom mid-range hotels in haridwar
Or is it better to stay in Rishikesh and commute to haridwar
Budget price 500 - 700
By the river /ghat would be very nice
