Hotel in Bhubaneshwar and Puri
I shall be visiting Bhubaneswar and Puri in early January. Can you recommend nice accommodation in those cities?

At Bhubhaneshwar stay at the Royale Midtown Double Ac Rs.1400 At Puri stay at Hotel Holiday Resort - Double AC - Rs.1000 These are inclusive of all taxes tariff. You can also try Pearl Beach Club and Resort at Puri for Rs.1800 per night. Hope it helps.

And Konarak- did they ever manage to bild the fancy beach resort there, and are the li'l state bundalows still there?
BTW- every time I have been to Puri, the beach is FOWL! Human feces, and other yucky stuff everywhere. Am I missing something; is there a clean part of that beach? If not, you'll never find me there, I'm afraid BiJ

The project at Konarak is not yet complete. The bunglows at Konarak - AC 350/- NAC 200/- You will find clean beaches at the private beaches in Puri with Holiday Resort and Pearl Beach. Even the general beach is more cleaner now. |

I have always liked Z Hotel in Puri; it's clean and friendly, and a lot less than Rs 1000.

Pink House in Puri is probably as close as you can get to the beach. They have a nicely located restaurant too.
