Help needed with hotels in Agra

After reading the LP, searching trip advisor and reading the reviews on IM, I still have no idea of which places to target for accommodation in Agra.

The best I can come up with is either the Garden Villa or Taj homestays. But they are well away from the action.

Everything else seems to crappy with heaps of bad reviews or too expensive.

Our budget is around 1500Rs/night +/- 500Rs

I hear you. I think the ones you mentioned are best for that price. Even though they are far you can take a car which will cost a little more but will make up for the distance. The inexpensive hotels seem to be real bad.

I never stayed in agra but will be going there soon. Both home stays were full on the dates we are going so we are forced to staye in an expensive hotel. Hopefully, someone with experience will give you better answers.

hey for all guys going to agra , do you want a hotel with nice view of taj mahal from roof top restuarant try saniya palace or shanti guest house in taj ganj area.they are awesome.rent for saniya palace is a mere 500 .good clean rooms.great staff.personal mail me if you want thier number. ramukhsohtnas.g@gmail.com
