HELP! Golden city hotel jaisalmer
Has anyone stayed at the Golden city Hotel? Only one review found here from Oct 05..
"Watch out girls! If you really need someone knocking on your hotel room, or someone who's following you all the time - you're absolutely right here...! Gazi,who's running that place, is a bit more than just "helpful" Not very good!! I´ve booked it and now am a bit concerned  Replys greatly appreciated!! |

I don't know what to say about safety of lonely foreign ladies in Golden City but when I visited Jaisalmer I found this backpackers hotel is quite popular for budget safari. Of course management sends boys to meet new arrivals and gives generous discounts if you book safari. Safari was good enough according to some reports.
addition: Golden City Hotel is essentially the place to book cheap and good safari with locker rooms for luggage, not the place to stay for exploriation of amazing desert city. |

I am the girlfriend of 10 years of Gazi and just because he a friend to guests does not mean anymore than that and I dispute anything that the guest of golden City Hotel says. It was proberly another guest who was 'trying it on'. Hotel Golden City has a good reputation of looking after its guests and nothing more.

"Fenn", who tells us she is in UK, but claims to be the 10-year girlfriend of a Jaisalmer hotel manager --- turns up on December 10th, denying a post made on January 28th. If it is true, then Fenn, then all you have achieved is reviving this thread and making sure that a lot more people see it! Curious... that's all I'm saying. Curious.
