Goa Tourism Development Corporation-Swingeing price increases

Hotels run by the Goa Tourism Development Corporation will be charging around 60% more
this winter than last.
eg In the 'moderate season' the cheapest double room at the Colva Residency will raised from Rs 700 per night to
Rs 1170 on the new tariff starting in October!!!

Note that their cancellation fees are also very steep.

Possibly the most sinister threat....
"Speakers are placed the garden and continuous reggae and holiday music plays on, adding to the delightful ambience of this residency."

This looks like an organisation to avoid!

This indicates that those in the helm of affairs in Goa TDC don't know the psyche of the most tourists visiting Goa.
