Clean place to stay for two months in Rishikesh

Hi all

I'm going to be in Rishikesh for two months over October and November this year.

I'm wondering whether anyone has any tips or recommendations on clean, light and airy places I might be able to stay at.

I'm looking for mid-range accommodation. I'm not incredibly fussy but cleanliness is a must. A western toilet would be nice too. As would a little peace and quiet.

I will be doing some yoga training at Hotel Divya so proximity to this hotel would be handy.

I'd really prefer to veer away from backpacker hotels.

Can anyone offer any suggestions?

Many thanks in advance

Why not stay at Divya hotel itself. It has excellent river views from it's high and large roof. Tariff too is very reasonable. If you are ready for a backside rooms, they are even cheaper.

Dharam Yatri Niwas nearby is a nice place, The best rooms are 301-314. dharmyatri @ rediffmail.com

Otherwise Hotel Surya and Hotel Om are also nearby.

At the proposed time of year Vanaprast Ashram is an excellent option and value, as you get a whole appartment for the price of a room. No need to prebook, just show up and ask.

Thankyou all very much for responding.

I've tried contacting the suggested hotels via email but there's not been any response unfortunately.

Does anyone know if Hotel Divya is clean?

Thanks again!
