Cheap/Friendly place to stay in Delhi
Hi,
Its my first time travelling and I'm meeting a friend in Thailand in April, but have decided to come to India on my own (he is still saving money ) for March.I arrive at Delhi airport at 10.30pm (on 6th March) and have been told (thanks Dreamer) to book a place to stay in advance to save hassle. I'v been told its very easy to meet new, likeminded people when travelling but naturally am a little nervous as its my first time! Are the types of accomodation that you choose key to meeting new people? I'll be on a low-medium budget, I don't mind slumming it and to be honest my main priority is meeting people so I'm not on my own for a month!! Any reccomendations will be very helpful! Thanks in advance Joe ![]() |

Try YMCA guest houses, bang in the heart of the city, cheap & clean, other option may be international youth hostels in Delhi, you are more likely to get some good company here..
