Booking Hotels in Advance?

Hi
Im arriving in Delhi on the 19th january 08 for the first time.
I have decided to book a room in advance and arrange an Airport pickup. Im gonna be staying (hopefully) at the Master Guest House which i've read lots of positive reviews for.
What im wondering is do you pay a deposit first to confirm your booking and whats the best and safest way to do that.
Im planning to stay for 3 nights there and i like to book quite soon.
Any help i'm really gratefully for.

I never ever pay in advance .It can go wrong either way ,so keep your card in your pocket . Hope this helps ,have fun & enjoy

Don't pay a deposit and Master Paying Guesthouse don't ask for one anyway. We stayed there last January. A wonderful place to stay especially if it is your first time - like it was for us. I would certainly book as soon as possible as they get booked up way in advance. They certainly do try and put you up if at all possible. When we arrived, there was someone sleeping in the lounge as a room was becoming free the next day.
