Book and pay hotels in advance?

Hi,

I will be travelling in India -together with my fiancee, parents and my sister- during March/April of this year.

Our budget is maximum 100 € per night for the 5 of us.
So I already made an inventory of hotels along the route for that budget.

Since my parents are nearly 60 years old and not very experienced travellers, I would like to book these hotels beforehand. I am not so avid on paying up front - I would like to make sure the rooms are decent and clean.

What is the best way to handle this?

I saw your itinerary and posted a response. You can book in advance but you probably don't need to during that time of the year. I think booking in advance with your current itinerary will make your head spin trying to keep to such a tight schedule. You've got too many travel days and not enough "seeing" days.
