Bathroom stuff

What stuff [shampoo? conditioner? soap?...] is likely to be provided in 3 and 4 star and heritage hotel bathrooms?

Well, in many of the finer hotels in INDIA, various beatuy-bathing products are supplied, but it will vary from hotel to hotel. MANY hotels in these categories provide soap, shampoo, powder, body lotion, and bathing gel in little cute containers..However, it varies from hotel to hotel, as does the quality of the products..Some of the stuff is really good and natural, and i always load up on it and request extras..There is a very good natural line of products that many of the hotels carry, something akin to the body shop in the sTATES..Othertimes, I skip the products, as they seem to be of questionable quality......In any case, I would suggest u bring your own stuff, justin case..take good care, enjoy ther freebies and happy travels..Bonita..

Do they ever provide shower caps [like they do in China, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Japan etc...]?

We found them most useful for putting over the water faucet to remind us not to drink the water or use it to brush our teeth. Guess I better bring along a supply from other hotels just in case.

HI AGAIN. Each HOTEL provides differnt items, some have caps, sewing kits, shoe shine, in addtion to the lotions and potions I earlier mentioned....Also, many top hotels also provide a bottle of mineral water complimentary in your HOWEVER, i would not count on all your hotels providing anything IN PARTICULAR, so what you need/require, do bring with you.....putting the shower cap on the faucet, very unusual, but whatever works for you..... happy travels..
