bad experiences with an indian travel agent
We have been to India for 4 weeks around christmas and New Year and we enjoyed this country very much. We have been to Rajasthan, Orcha, Agra and Delhi. especially the smaller places like Mandawa, Bundi were very nice. We already know that it was not the last time!
The only thing we had a little problem with was the tour operator, where we booked our tour. It is an Indian travel agency located in Udaipur (travel made easy / www.realrajasthan.com) . They did not comunicate proper, gave us for some places wrong information and therefore there were not reliable on what we booked. We got different places from what we fixed with them but already payed for the other ones (we visited them in Udaipur, after that we continued the tour where we were cheated). Furthermore we had to pay more than they told us at the beginning, there is always a reason why you have to pay more for everything (fuel, tax, service, dollar exchange rate etc.). So our advice is to discuss everything so clear as possible, ask if there can be additional cost they have not mentioned yet etc.. Our question is: Is there any governmental office where we can send our experiences with this tour operator to make sure that not more travelers will be cheated? I hope that somebody can help us. |
