Anoop hotel, newdelhi, budget hotel

I went to delhi with my wife on august 2009. we decided to stay in a hotel which is near to new delhi railway station. We stayed in Anoop hotel..in paharganj...
The room we stayed is clean and calm, eventhough it is noisy n busy road. We stayed there for 2 days. They have a rooftop restaurant, but we didn't have time to go. If u r looking for a budget hotel, this is the best place....

There are three hotels of the same group all close in Main Bazaar Paharganj.

They're OK for a couple of nights.

Rates are available on the website but I'd confirm by e-mail to be sure.

I can second that , have stayed a couple of times at the Hari krishna next door .It is part of the same group and shares the roof top restaurant The entrance is along a small alleyway which is of putting but the rooms are clean and at a good price for Delhi .They arranged an airport pick up for me which went well, for Paharganj a good deal .

P.S it is a budget option so don't expect 5 star .

Would you stay at any of these if you were travelling with your spouse and your kid of 1 yr 9 mo? Consider that you'll check in night at 10 and leave next day at 12 noon. That's my scenario in Dec'09 !
Did you wear the other person's shoe today?

I have seen many Bengali families staying at Paharganj hotels...

In fact many hotels have their boards in Bangla....

Thumbs up

Last two years I have been four or five times in Delhi and almost always in Anoop Hotel. The rooms restored are very good, even better than most three star hotels. Try to get an interior room because front rooms to Main Bazaar are quite noisy. Har Krishna belonging to the same chain is not that good.

We stayed there in 2004, good basic budget hotel. Wont be staying there this time though with the 70 year old inlaws, dont want to give them culture shock on there first day in India.
