I'm thinking of taking my husband to India for his birthday in november. I was thinking beach and spa. I have been to rajastan and stayed at the oberoi. It was amazing. What do u think or ananda? Is it to the same level? Which package is suggested?
Are you referring to Ananda-in-the Himalayas in Rishikesh?. It is a well known and probably the best spa in India with a variety of packages. Check Anandaspa. It is a bit expensive.
Rishikesh has a big river flowing through it and can make up for the beach. However, if you want the sea and beach, may be Kerala or Goa are the places to check. Kerala is preferred.
