accomodation in Shimla
Hi
Am in Chandigarh right now and just about to travel up to Shimla, McLeod Ganj. Have only been in India a week and am really shocked at how scarce and expensive accomodation seems to be. I tried to book ahead(Hotel Divyadeep) before I got to Chandigarh. They were reluctant and when I arrived only had Rs750 rooms left. Have struggled to find anything under Rs400. Any advice on accomodation inShimla would be welcome as I won't be arriving there until early evening and want to make sure I have a place to stay. Am looking for a double room with fan and shared bathroom for aroundRs200-Rs400. thanks MS |
