Accommodation in Munnar, Kerala

A group of 4 of us will be in Munnar Dec 19-21 and have been trying to get a place to stay but to no avail! We are on a fairly tight budget (probably not more than Rs. 2000/night/room for 2 people). I've scoured these forums for homestay/hotel recommendations, but haven't had too much luck. I would rather do a homestay, than a large fancy hotel. Any suggestions will be much appreciated!
