3 room hotel: a female and two males...

Hello,

I was trying to book a hotel (Nand international) in Hyderabad and since there are three of us, I asked for a room with 3 beds. Manager said that if we have a mix of people (e.g. one female and two males) then we have to book two different rooms...

Is this true ? Even if the female is my sister ?

Sorry, it's my first time in India

Thanks,

Anton.

i don't think thats really a rule or anything, but something the manager is just trying to pull off, you might be better off trying to get accommodations at a different hotel. Try this link Hotels in Hyderabad, it should help you out a lot.

I would have asked the question to the manager, why this was and make him squirm.

Sounds like he's got a Dirty little Mind.

overcautious about what, are 2 females or 2 males
'Allowed to Share a Room" do you think he would
Allow 2 females & 1 male to share a room

Another Undercover Moral Policeman. The world is
FULL of them.

good lord, i shared a room with a male and female friend across india, and nobody batted an eyelid. however, when we booked we just asked for three beds, we didn't specify gender.
