Planning to visit Lakshadweep islands - Looking for travel partner

I am planning to visit Lakshadweep islands in the coming months, and my ternary is as below. I am a solo traveler and the ship cabin has two separate beds, if I don’t have a travel partner the travel authority will assign someone!!! I Wish if I can meet someone like minded here in IM to be the travel partner, so at least I know who will be my partner ahead of time and plan the trip together. I know the procedure how to get the permit to the island and also how to book the best tour package, I can help you on this part. Please let me know if anyone interested.

I have a tentative plan to go to Lakshadweep from Nov 10th - 18th (leaving Delhi on the 10th and returning on 18th or 19th). Do you know how long the it takes to get the permit, and if there's enough to do there for 8 days of if it's better to visit other parts of Kerala for 3 days and spend only 5 on the islands?

If you book a trip from SPORTS you do not need to worry about the permit, they will take care of it.
I do not think there is anything to do for 8 days in there, you should plan a few days in Kerala.
Most probably I will be planning my trip later Nov or Dec.

Can anybody provide some input on what Do's and Don'ts when one visit this beautiful island? We (family of 4 ppl) have planned this in Dec-11-15 Samudran.

Guys..I may not able to make the trip this year or early next year, there are some official trips coming early next year too.. so i am going to push my Lakshadweep travel to middle/late next year..

I visited wellington island Cochin yesterday where the SPORTS administrative office is.
