Grupai the plan looks good, just one suggestion,

Instead of going to Bangalore, if you can fly to Kochi directly, you can save 1.5 days and can do some more time in the backwaters in the same trip. I know you have a different trip altogether, but it will be worth!

We are stuck with three queries now: -

1. Hotel / Home stay in the range of 1-1.5k per night (pref AC)
2. Any official work which warrants visiting SPORTS office the day before the scheduled departure - or we can just about land up in the harbour on the scheduled day
3. Since we have some time on 10th between disembarkation and train departure , how best can we utilize the buffer

Suggestions invited for the queries on priority basis

Sajhome is a very good option I had heard. I have never stayed there.

I have been told that one need to collect the boarding pass by 9 AM on the day of departure. Will confirm this shortly.

Chinese Fishing Nets , Hill Palace Museum, Dutch Palace , Kochi fort are few of the places you can visit. But I can assure you after been back from Lakshadweep , you wont like crowded Kochi that much.

Hi Abhik,
Till now we haven't booked..we will book Samudram Package of 6th March,12 shortly.
Actually we are in dilemma about aspinwall & sports.
As per IMikers feedback we have almost decided to go for aspinwall.
Sundaram package cost will be approx 20,500 per person.
