Walking from Manali to Leh
Anyone done this?
IS there a common route? better route? Same old problem of finding maps here Again - all tips appreciated |

Yes ,I remember reading on Indiamike about some Army guy with his friend doing this ....

hello
can you tell me if you found good quality maps for this route. Of so where from. I'm having a bit of a nightmare finding them. I've been fruitlessly looking for a 'survey of india' building in Delhi |

These are good maps:
Ladakh Zanskar - South Ladakh Zanskar - Center (North is not necessary for your route). I don't know which is the best route for trekking. I suppose you can follow the road, but this might not be the most fun walking. |
