Trekking in Ladakh - May 07
Hi,
I will be in Ladakh from 07 to 20 May. I am a avid trekker and wanna to do some trekking there. I read that most of the treks are not accessible during that period? Does anyone know what are the treks available? Thks |

Hi,
It is unlikely you will be able to do any treks in Ladakh region because access roads to Ladakh via Srinagar and Manali may be blocked. The other way would be to fly to Leh but due to earlier than tourist season, tourist operators may not be available. So you could take that route  PPS: Heard somewhere that the above website is accurate only Jun-Sep. Donno but you could call Leh tourism offices and confirm. They would confirm, what is open, what not. Buy an LP brother - you can find all the right info in there! |
