Trekking equipment in Ladakh

Does any one knows where I can rent camping equipment i.e. tents and sleeping bags in Ladakh?

We would only need them for a few days when we go to Nubra Valley, Pangong Tso and Zanskar Valley, so I am not really interested in carrying them from Delhi. Any info i.e. pricing/contact details regarding this will be appreciated.

Yogesh,

Near Hotel Khayul on Old Leh road, there is a shop which has lotsa of this equipement.

Also, the manager of Hotel Zarla is a trekking guide himself. He'll be able to help you out.

Am sure if you ask any of the travel agents there, they'll be able to help you out.

Rates might be a lil high though..!

Jay I am actually trying to get contact details of shops like that so I can contact them in advance, since we will have a group of 10-15 people and I don't want to leave any thing for the last moment.

every secnd shop is a travel agency in leh...
rest assured, there won't be any problem...
if u book from here, it is more than likely that u will find a better thing at a lower price when u see the same equipment at other shops when in leh...
just relax... there are just too many shops there and u will not have any problem... best to see the sleeping bags for yourself first...
