Can anyone guide regarding the cheap and short way to go to leh from manali...

State HRTC buses are ( were last year ) around Rs 600 , with a night halt in Keylong - fare only. Plenty of accommodation in Keylong , from the Budget Shambala to the expensive but very good food at the Tashi Delek.
State tourist ( HPTDC ) buses Rs 1500(-ish) , fare only , from July.
