Taxi Drivers for Srinagar - Leh Route

Hi Friends,

I have browsed many threads however I was not able to find any contacts for Good Taxi Drivers who are good. Request all the friends here in this Forum to please share your experiences and do recommend Drivers if you were satisfied with their services. It would really help all of us who are planning to visit Kashmir and Ladakh this year.

Aarosh, the link you have shared does mention one or two drivers however they are more for Ladakh Sightseeing..

I also agree with Meavin that we badly need some good drivers for Srinagar - Kargil, Kargil - Zanskar, Kargil - Leh routes.. So many folks do this circuit however its unfortunate that we don't have any database of good reliable drivers for this route!!

Yes all the drivers that are mentioned in various threads are for Leh-Ladakh sightseeing. I could not find any contacts for Srinagar - Leh route..

I did my Ladakh trip last week. I am searching for the driver number from Srinagar to Leh. But it was a Ladakh taxi. Chances are less that he would be there during the time of your visit. But we got his contact through this Srinagar driver called Abdul Rashid Khan +91 9906746804 / +91 9797995775. He was a nice chap. Maybe you can contact him.

We are planning to take two personal cars from delhi for the Srinagar-Leh-Manali trip but we want to hire an expert driver (who knows leh well).
Need some help guys!
