| surat-manali-leh-srinagar-surat in maruti wagon-R hi all, four of us are planning to travel from surat- chandigarh-manali-leh-srinagar-jammu-delhi-surat route from 28june to 12july. what i need to know is if i start early from chandigarh say around 0400hrs, is it possible for me to reach keylong for night stay. i plan to stay first night at keylong (after chandigarh),second at pang and to reach leh by noon third day so that i can apply for permits for nubra valley and pangong tso the same day.will i be able to reach leh by noon if i follow this schedule. 2. suppose i stop at manali and then make first night at sarchu, then at what time will i b able to reach leh second day. 3. any information about the road conditions presently.. 4. i have 50ltrs LPG tank fitted in my car which i will top up in chandigarh and will not use after that. do i still then need to carry extra fuel. i guess 35ltrs of full tank petrol plus 50LTRs LPG will be sufficient to carry me along. sorry for a long querry... thankx in anticipation regards amit |
