Successful Trek - Markha Valley

Hi All

We had a very good trek in Markha Valley between Sep 28th and Oct 4th. Had finalized on Sky High trek (Tsering norboo) as the agency to conduct the trek. The experience was pleasant although there were minor hiccups on communications between the agency, the guide and the horsemen.

All in all, it was a good experience as Tsering was very flexible to our changing needs.

The trek was great as the weather was amazing - we had sunny weather on all days The autumn colors in the valleys were simply superb. There was also very less crowd due to end of season. Will definitely recommend doing the trek in Sep end/Oct.

Did a bike trip on the last day after reaching Leh to visit Hemis, Shey and Thiksey. Well worth it and recommended for part time bikers. Also recommend the Guest house - Palace View Guest house near polo ground (Owner - Latif).
