stuck in ladakh

hi. a few questions regarding transport. i want to travel from leh to dharmasala, beginning of june, (flying out of delhi half june).
1. is the road to srinigar open by that time ?? (cause there was so much snow this winter).
2. and save (now the india-pakistan bus is running)??
3. if not i will be forced to travel by air. is it possible to buy a ticket in leh, say one week before traveling? or is this one of those things that need to be done far in advance (i.e. i will be stuck and miss my returnflight).
4. since i am here, one last question. what will the temperature be in leh? i'll arrive half may...

hey,
1. yes the leh srinagar road will be open in June, the army and BRO strives to keep it that way.
2. Safe, yes but take a taxi vouched for by the hotel, where you will be putting up
3. In all possibilities you should be able to scramble an air ticket at the last moment but its prudent and wiser to book in advance as June is the tourist season and you can have a spurt of rush
4. Tempretures will be in the range of 27 celcius to 5 celcius , depending on the weather, but take precautions for sunburns (bane of high altitute)
