sleeping bag...
Hi there,
I'm planning to visit Ladakh by bus, staying in budget accomodation, no trekking: what do you suggest me to bring, a light cotton-sleepbag or a normal one? I have a sleepbag I normally use during overnight summer trekking in "my" italian western alps, but I'd like to leave it at home... Thx Last edited by machadinha : Jul 29th, 2007 at 06:31. Sleeping bag is nice , but by no means necessary - blankies are provided. In the tent camps esp. they can be less than appetising , a personal layer in between is a relief .
Apart from from liners as mentioned , there has cropped up a third alternative , inner bags that are between the liner and sleeping bag in warmth , weight and price. Could be used as an blanket on bus as well , I guess , but no first hand experience. ![]()
